For the last three months i've been hard at work, usually 12-18 hours a day working on my new and best collection yet for Fashion showcase wales, entitled 'Muse'. It's a very arty collection of 8 pieces, each one representing an artist through time, from Michaelangelo through to Tracey Emin. It's an amazing show organised by Kate Handley and one that i am proud to be involved in for the second year running.

CANDYMASH collection 2011...

I've been working on a new collection which i've named 'CandyMash', based on on a trend prediction for 2011 called 'Mash', which is all about patchwork, mismatched patterns, prints and textures, bright, clashing colours, lots of turqoise, magentas, reds, bright yellows and purples and boldly printed text on fabric. I absolutely love it! So have chosen it as inspiration for this collection. The free machine/ hand embroidery and embellishments i use combined with the colours of this trend, reminds me of a candy shop. The name of the collection therefore combining Candy and Mash. Please check out the photos below for some of the pieces. The best news however is that i am now selling my clothes in a swanky boutique in Swansea!!!Woop woop, and Vixy will soon be on the boutiques website, so take a look or pop down to the boutique to have a look. Got a couple of shows coming up, but as soon as they are done ill get back to work on more stock. http://www.bossyboutique.co.uk/.
