I've been working on a new collection which i've named 'CandyMash', based on on a trend prediction for 2011 called 'Mash', which is all about patchwork, mismatched patterns, prints and textures, bright, clashing colours, lots of turqoise, magentas, reds, bright yellows and purples and boldly printed text on fabric. I absolutely love it! So have chosen it as inspiration for this collection. The free machine/ hand embroidery and embellishments i use combined with the colours of this trend, reminds me of a candy shop. The name of the collection therefore combining Candy and Mash. The best news however is that i am now selling my clothes in a swanky boutique in Swansea!!!Woop woop, and Vixy will soon be on the boutiques website, so take a look or pop down to the boutique to have a look. I like your work a lot.I was at the 411 Club fashion show during the week and saw a few of your designs on the the catwalk there. I'm doing a party fashion feature for or Cardiff postgrad paper and I hoped you would be able to tell me a bit more about your collections and your background.
